Do you want to do something fun and truly meaningful with your time? By choosing to be an active part in building our community, you can make a big difference! Right now we need more volunteers in a few different groups. Where would you contribute best?
Connection
Connection is our open meeting place for LGBTQI adults. Connection has meetups once a week and offers a variety of social activities. As a volunteer at cConnection, you will be part of a big team of volunteers, and be involved in planning activities, staffing the meetings, welcoming visitors, fixing fika and creating a welcoming and fun meetingspace. This is a chance to contribute to an important meeting place for the entire community.
Adopt a queer
As a contact person with Adopt a queer, you are a resource for another LGBTQI person and the assignment is shaped according to what they need. It can involve moral support when contacting authorities, conversations, learning more about Gothenburg and/or Sweden, getting out and doing things, finding a way into the LGBTQI community, counteracting isolation or similar.
Hbtq-Seniorerna
Hbtq-Seniorerna is our group for LGBTQ people over 60. Hbtq-Seniorerna meet several times a month and have a program packed with fun activities. They are now looking for more people to join the organizing group who want to join and take responsibility for the meetings. To be a voluteer here you need to be LGBTQ and over 60 yourself.
Newcomers Göteborg
Newcomers Göteborg is a social platform and a network for LGBTQI migrants and LGBTQI refugees. They meet up twice a week for social activities, learning and support.Do you want to make a difference and work for an anti-racist community?
Queer Weekends
Queer Weekends is a place to meet new friends in the LGBTQI community. Fun activities and a relaxed atmospohere. LGBTQI people of all ages are welcome. Meetup once a month, always on a weekend.. Is weekends the best time for you, then you might want to be involved in arranging meetings with this group.
Meeting place for rainbow families
Rainbow families is a group for families with children where one or more familymembers are LGBTQI people. The group is a opportunity for children and adults to meet others in similar family constellations, exchange experiences and play. Rainbow families is looking for more people who want to be part of the organizing group.
BiQuPan
BiQuPan Gothenburg is a membership group for bi-, and pansexuals, and others who are attracted (romanticly or sexually) to people of more than one gender. The group has been down for a time, but want to get going again, for that there is need fore a group of new volunteers that want to help create a place for bi-, pan- and other omnisexual, -romantic people in gothenburg.
