Earlier this summer, our newcomer counselor Stefan Hedman, together with Aino Gröndah, an asylum lawyer at the federal level, and Sharbel Hajj, who is seeking asylum, participated in an article about the situation of LGBTQI asylum seekers in Sweden.

Everyone Stefan works with has trauma, often it is their own family who abused and violated them in their home country. Despite this, RFSL’s investigation shows that only five percent are approved in the migration courts.
