Accessibility information for activities at Regnbågshuset.

Regnbågshuset is in an old heritage building which means there are certain limitations:

  • There is a low doorstep of about 3 cm at the entrance door to the building.
  • The intercom can be difficult to read and it can be difficult to hear when people talk.
  • Elevator- & entrance doors are heavy and lack automatic opening function.
  • Intercom and elevator buttons are high up and the buttons lack clear visual and tactile markings.
  • Regnbågshuset is on the 4th floor, this information is not available inside the building.
  • At any of RFSL:s activities you can contact us in advance and we can come down to the entrance and help you get in.

Other accessibility information:

  • The venue has decent accessibility, without high doorsteps.
  • A hearing loop is available in the large open room where talks and larger events usually take place.
  • A part of the large open room/scene has a level difference. There is a ramp available in the far corner.
  • A wheelchair accessible toilet is available.
  • The rooms are lit with bright lights. Some lights can be dimmed.
  • There is a quiet room with a bed for whomever needs it.
  • You always have the right to leave, or to take a break from, an activity or an event should you need to.
  • The rooms have sound dampening textiles.
  • Registered guide-, och servicedogs are welcome, please refrain from bringing other animals, for allergy reasons.
  • No nuts can be in anything the organisers provide during activities and events (but you are allowed to bring things containing nuts yourself).
  • When there is fika at RFLS Göteborgs activities there are always vegan and gluten free options available.
  • There is always an organsier in charge on site at RFSL:s activities. You are always welcome to come to an organiser if you have any questions or need help with anything.
