Meeting Space for Rainbow Families

Meeting Space for Rainbow Families is a member group of RFSL Gothenburg that is run by volunteers.

Meeting Space for Rainbow Families provides opportunities for children and adults to meet other children and adults in similar family constellations, exchange experiences and play.

By rainbow family we mean a family where one or more of the children and/or adults are LGBTQI people.

Summer 2026:

• Meetup at Kulturhuset Kåken – Parade prep and fix. We paint banners, make pins, craft punchy signs and other rainbow colored fun for the Pride Parade. Materials are available on site.
  • June 7th at 1:00 PM-3:00 PM.
• Walk with Meeting Space for Rainbow Families in the Pride Parade!
  • June 13th. Gathering at 12:30 PM at Gustaf Adolfs Torg.

Would you like to help?

Would you like to help organize meetings for Rainbow Families? We are looking for more organizers to complement the three of us who are allready in the group. Our ambition is to organize meetings in other places and also aimed at slightly older children. It would be great if you would like to help create a nice community for our Rainbow Families!
