Connection!

Connection! is an open meeting place for LGBTQI adults. We meet every Wednesday in Regnbågshuset and socialize over coffee and various activities.

Come to a themed evening or participate in a fun workshop, get to know others on speed dating or come for our craft café. If the week’s activity isn’t for you, it’s always ok to just come to have a coffee and hang out for a while. You can also take the opportunity to check out Regnbågshuset’s free shop, borrow a board game, pick up the QX magazine, pick up some free condoms at the entrance, or bring your own craft and settle down. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to bring your own food to eat on site.

You are as welcome alone as with your friends. Coffee and all activities are completely free. You don’t have to be a member of RFSL to join the first few times, but if you think what we do is good and want us to be able to continue doing it, then the best way to support us is to become a member of RFSL.

Connection is open every Wednesday from 18.00-20.30. We meet at Regnbågshuset, Barlastgatan 2, floor 4. Nearest stop: Masthuggstorget.

Connection! is a low-threshold meeting space where everyone under the LGBTQI umbrella is welcome. Are you lesbian, gay, bi, pan, trans, queer, intersex, or wondering if you are any of these? Then you are most welcome just as you are!

English speaker? We are happy to switch to english if you have trouble speaking swedish, and have many english speaking participants on our meetings.

At Connection we are all LGBTQI people, and we meet each other with respect. We use the right pronouns when we know them, and use gender neutral language if we do not know. We collectively try to make sure everyone is welcomed, and to make it easy for new people to join in.

New and a little nervous? – Are you new and/or a little nervous about coming? Get in touch via the contact details below, and we can meet you at the tram stop and make sure you find the right place and help you get in to the social situation.

Craft cafe – Once a month we have a craft cafe at Connection! Keep an eye on our schedule, or sign up for the mailing list, to stay up to date on which dates will be each month. Bring your own craft, or come and try knitting, crocheting or learning to embroider with us. As always, we have free fika. (You can, of course, come just to socialize completely without crafting as well)
